Consultation is by appointment. Appointments can be made by calling our medical clinic on (03) 9404 4110 or by booking online.
It is important to make a booking with the correct length of time to allow the doctor to adequately assess you.
- Standard Consultation (10 minutes)
- Long Consultation (20 minutes and above)
- Extended Consultation (45 minutes)
Please Note: Phone appointments are available. To be eligible for a telephone consultation, you must have attended the clinic in person within the last 12 months.
Long appointments are important for complex issues including:
- Discussion of Multiple Health Issues
- Insurance medicals
- Health review
- Counselling or Mental Health Care Plans
- Second opinion
- Children’s Vaccinations
Please Note: If more than one person from your family wishes to see the doctor at the same time, please ensure a separate appointment is made for each family member.
CONSULTATION FEES
Our Childs Road Medical Clinic is a private billing practice, and fees are payable at the time of consultation.
Pensioners, Health Care Card holders and children under 16 are bulk billed weekdays.
The clinic offers Medicare Ezyclaim: for eligible services your Medicare Rebate is paid back to your DEBIT CARD immediately after you have paid your account at the clinic.
PROCEDURE ROOM
At Childs Road Medical Clinic we offer a number of procedures conducted by our skilled doctors.
Procedure information and consent forms will be provided on or before the day of your procedure.
Most procedures are conducted in our treatment room with the assistance of our trained nurses.
Procedures may incur an out-of-pocket cost and is required to be paid on the day.
